In the quiet town of Lin, stood the imposing facade of Our Lady of Sorrow Convent. Many years ago, the convent was a haven for troubled children, those who had lost their way in life. But as time went on, word spread of the strange rituals conducted behind its sturdy walls. Children would come, promising to mend their spirits, but one by one, they disappeared. The very walls of the convent seemed to absorb their cries, leaving only the echo of soft hymns carried by the wind.

The story gained a new twist when a daring boy named Tommy, known for his adventurous spirit, decided to investigate the legend. On a misty Halloween night, fueled by curiosity and bravado, he ventured toward the convent. As he approached, the grandeur of the old structure loomed ominously, illuminated only by the moonlight filtering through the swirling fog.Tommy pushed open the creaking gate and stepped inside, the air heavy with the scent of damp stone and something more sinister. The flickering light of candles lined the hallway, revealing portraits of solemn-faced nuns that seemed to watch his every move. A faint sound—a soft, mournful hymn—drifted from deep within the convent, luring him further. Each step took him deeper into the darkness, and suddenly, the hymn turned into whispers that echoed off the walls

“Come closer, dear child we’ve been waiting for you.”

They called, honeyed but menacing. Rounding a corner, Tommy found a large chapel adorned with flickering candlelight. At the altar, cloaked figures swayed rhythmically, their faces obscured by shadows. The atmosphere crackled with an energy that made his skin crawl. “Join us,” they beckoned, the air growing thick with an unnatural allure.Tommy's instincts screamed for him to flee, but curiosity rooted him to the spot. Suddenly, the nuns broke their rhythm, and with swift, fluid movements, they turned their gaze upon him. Their eyes glinted in the candlelight—hollow, empty voids that seemed to devour the light.Panic surged through him as the nuns advanced, their inhuman sounds merging into a haunting chant.

“You will be one of us”

They sang with their voices echoing in harmony. Frightened, Tommy turned and sprinted toward the exit, but the hall grew longer, stretching endlessly as he raced against time. Every turn seemed to lead him deeper into the labyrinthine darkness, echoing the laughter of the nuns behind him, promising him a fate worse than death.

Eventually, Tommy burst through the doors, gasping for breath as he stumbled onto the night-soaked grass. Looking back, the convent loomed in silence, its windows darkened, as if the shadows themselves had swallowed the wails he left behind.Years passed, but the chilling legends of Our Lady of Sorrow Convent persisted, with whispers of a boy who was almost lost to the night.
